Acknowledge -  By calling their name.

My friend who was a foodie passed on a good habit.
He used to check the hotel bills thoroughly and few times excess billing happens, otherwise more often the waiter might have missed billing some items.
He was meticulous and he said his father taught him that if someone owes  him and did not notice was acceptable , but he cannot do the same.

After reading the below book,
How to Win Friends and Influence People
Book by Dale Carnegie
A must-read book that helped me and reminded me to go to the next step that is acknowledging a person by name who rendered a service to you.

A person’s name is to that person the sweetest and most important sound in any language."
Unquote.

During my transfer from Pune, a day before shifting thanked the persons like security guards, water boy, paperboy,, support  staff, etc by calling their names.

Even in LI, I follow this practice and someone writes comments against my post and shares their views then immediately respond and appreciate.

Acknowledge the person by name will leave a great impact and lifelong will remember you and you become friends

Sweet little kid

Varun.Sweet little kid. Let us invoke the learner in us. Let us learn from everywhere. A small story. In my apartment floor, there are 6 flats., that consists of families speaking different languages. Telugu Kannada Bengali Badaga (one of the languages of Nilagiri hills belt) Tamil -2 families. A cute 2+ age, a little boy named  Varun of one of the Telugu speaking family visits all of us daily. He identifies the small things and repeats what we say. Suppose we ask him, show us the Buddha statue in Tamil and he understands and take us there. He may be playing and running inside  around for 15 minutes  or so, interacts with us in Tamil sometimes .we are also recollecting our Hyderabad days and try our little Telugu also.
