Appreciation

A small rose flower in your garden deserves appreciation for its beauty and fragrance provided by nature .

Recall one scene from a tamil movie called “ Pasanga” and the Director has perfectly conveyed in that shot for this magic word.

Teacher calls a boy and ask every one to clap without telling the reason .

Once over , he tells students , now listen, this boy has returned the home work note books of all you  and found that he has written on name label like IAS, IPS, IFS, Doctor , Astronaut ,Scientist against each and every one. Inspiring .  He needs special appreciation and that what the clap meant for.

In my earlier assignment  one senior person used to mention 'appreciate so and so '  during  the meetings . One day I called him , he said yes the persons deserves, as  they not only completed their task ,also shared all the data before time without sending remainders or follow up or escalation .This helped to plan my project cycle  and in turn the project progressed well.

After few days , I also  copied this gesture and sent a word of appreciation , this time to their seniors stating that your team member has contributed  and I appreciate him through you , please convey him.

Of course , we see nowadays Kudos messages in LI appreciating their team members.Keep it up.
