Communication and inter personal skills 
This broadly describes the skills needed to get on and work with other people, and particularly to transfer and receive messages either in writing or verbally.

During my decade of Public sector Undertaking job ,had the opportunity to work   vountarily as Joint secy and treasurer part of the association welfare activities .Few to mention.
1. Organize meetings 
2. Conduct meetings 
3. Welcome speech
4. Co ordination with all verticals.
5. Miniutes of meeting preperation
6. Maintain accounts 
7.Audit of accounts 
8. Interact with management
9. Time management 
10. Brainstorming sessions  
Finally a  complete event managent skills acquired .

Later after a decade ,it comes handy in a different form.
1.Reaching out to clients 
2. Fix appointments 
3.Sending meeting invite
4.Meeting clients on time
5. Establish converstation.
6. Listen,understand and prepare  notes.
7. Send Thanking notes and Acknowledge contributions 
8. Followup and Closures .
9. Well prepared and well organized events like partner meets 

These may be a supplimentary activity , if you are doing vountarily ,will become  an interesting habit , you can concentrate and focus on business.
