Sweet little kid

Varun.Sweet little kid.

Let us invoke the learner in us.
Let us learn from everywhere.

A small story.

In my apartment floor, there are 6 flats.,
that consists of families speaking different languages.
Telugu
Kannada
Bengali
Badaga (one of the languages of Nilagiri hills belt)
Tamil -2 families.

A cute 2+ age, a little boy named  Varun of one of the Telugu speaking family visits all of us daily.

He identifies the small things and repeats what we say.
Suppose we ask him, show us the Buddha statue in Tamil and he understands and take us there.

He may be playing and running inside  around for 15 minutes  or so, interacts with us in Tamil sometimes .we are also recollecting our Hyderabad days and try our little Telugu also.

Similarly, he moves to all the other flats almost equally and in particular,  he spends most of the time with little elder children  of a Kannada speaking family .

Varun's father told us that he sometimes uses some typical words picked up from all of us .

The innocence and learning attitude of the child is what we have to look for.

Instead of looking from where the knowledge comes, from whom, the approach should be for its true value and  merit it can bring us at a later date .

Varun, way he learns new languages without any inhibition,  we can also cultivate a habit of learning.

The Linkedin community where we spend good time, has got a lot of knowledge sources, like the different neighborhood communities living around us, a child in us can visit those houses, simply repeat and start picking up new things.

After a while, the father of this child, the matured one can assess those little things picked from different knowledge sources and further dive deep.

Every time, Varun knocks the door, we open the door, greet him with a smile, and enjoy his swift movements,  the sweet infant talks, make our  day brighter and brighter.

He also reminds me to be a learner always.
