Humanity

Humanity.
During my delhi days 36 years back  could recollect an incident happened in a DTC bus.
During one of the journey, a boy of age 14 got in and sat with me .He was gasping for breadth and i noticed some thing abnormal.
I just gave few moment pause and asked him what happened ? He was not able to speak and started weeping .I took his hands and consoled him and said please relax ,let  us talk later .After 15 mts he started talking to me.The reply he gave  was shocking .
While getting down from the previous bus he came under the backside of the wheel .Some one pulled him out it seems .He went blank and nothing was visible .After sometime he found himself at the bus stop bench .30 mts later he got into my bus and felt as though he  died and went in to a state of shock .
I could not reply him as i was also hardly 22..
Immediately thought I should divert his  attention.I  told about myself and then asked him where do you stay .He told me the place. Then i told him a lie that i also belong go the same place.
His face became little bright  We both got down .Had a cool drink and then dropped him at his house. Holding his hands said forget it and left .
This incident reminds me to extend helping hand to the needy .A small gesture but humanity was at its best what i learnt that day .
