Weekly Meditation series-1
While boiling milk for the past 60 days (almost), I had a wonderful experience to share. one has to be around that area and at back of the mind it lives for those moments.
In the initial days during this activity , I used to think a lot about what I could not attempt a day before and planned to complete it today
Later, slowly, unknowingly developed a pattern, at morning 6 Am, observed only a few thoughts like birds singing ragas outside, watching the boiling milk, and expecting a prompt switch off the stove.
Totally immersed in a serene atmosphere.
May take 5 mts or so to boil 1 litre of milk but the amount of distraction during that time reduced to nil.
Thought, this could be a good thing to follow, and help me to clear traffic jams in my brain and simply abide in few thoughts ignoring others.
Mediation is nothing but concentrating on one or single thought or watching the breadth , not paying attention or simply ignore thoughts.
After 7 hrs of deep mediation (good old sleep ) and a 5 minute of meditation of this kind in the morning times helped me to perform day's activities in a better way.
