No limit for Learning

No limit for Learning .
Pune, 1982,we were seven Tamilians going for a Hindi movie together . Our north Indian friends were also travelling with us. Came to know about the movie, they asked us, will you be able to follow,? Yes we said two of us understand Hindi and we will translate important dialogues to others.
When we came out we met our colleagues from north India.
Hi, Could you able to follow the movie ?
Yes . I said  ,will narrate the story  in short.
Please correct if I am wrong.
Narrated the same .
They asked me how did you learn as there was  no second language option in your state.
I said when I was doing 6th std
joined a private institute and learned.
Spoken Hindi that what we have to pick up fast, Watching more Hindi movies.
And also rest of them  have to pick up spoken Hindi too .
They said henceforth we will speak to you all in Hindi only . We said Dhanyavad and left.

We have started to self cook.
We went to grocery shop and since we don't know the grocery items names in Hindi,  used to point out the items and tell them to pack the required quantity. It prompted me that day, need to update myself, and bought one Hindi book to know all those names which we frequently use.

Takeaway.
1. Learn thoroughly
2. Always there is a scope for learning .

Thoughts please.
