Old wine in a new bottle
Old wine in new bottle .
Sharing an observation.
Even though we have two vegetable shops ,local farmers used to sell vegetables, fruits outside our apartments .
We live 30 kms outside the chennai city and lucky to get fresh stock of locally grown vegetables .
Yesterday,we saw one taxi owner converted his car into a veggie shop.and it is not a big news But his approach was very good
We bought all the fresh vegetables and asked him can we get these missing varieties tomorrow.
Smiligly he said sir ,i became a nomad .i only source my limited variety of vegetables from my area and supply .
if i supply more or less the same item on a daily basis ,people will reject me
So in our area ,i have identified 25 big complexes and planned to visit one by one .may be i will come here after 20 days .
Appreciated him.
What a practical way to address market needs and sell his stock .
It may not be a new technique.
Street vendors used to do this . He has adapted and finding his own market that is need of the hour .
One can go for conventional methods or digital tools to find out markets, but don't over look the proven methods .
Any scope of remodelling in the current scenerio to survive or scale up.
Old is always Gold .think of today's gold rates.
