Retail consumers - wholesale offers

Live in a big apartment complex.
I thought of sharing an interesting observation.

1000 sq ft Departmental store.
A corona rack got added.
Displayed items are cloth masks, Sanitizer, and hand gloves. All soaps, disinfectants occupied this rack.

Tea and snack shop.
A small tea shop now became a Kirana shop.
The shopkeeper advertised all grocery items are sold in wholesale rates. A big hit.

Vegetable business.
One vegetable shop is there to cater to the needs. Since the wholesale market has been closed in Chennai and shifted outside Chennai limits, the vegetable vendor was not able to deliver fresh vegetables.

Sensing this opportunity, a new competitor born. Their model is to procure the vegetables from the locals and sell it to residents at a wholesale rate. Big hit

650 families, mostly forced to stay at home and indoors, the retail consumption at wholesale offerings worked out very well. Malls are yet to be opened and all those consumers buying in bulk have to be catered and this is an ideal model during this period .

Takeaway.
Recollecting an old proverb in my mother tongue Tamil.

Tamilnadu -Dindugal Poottu (Locks ) Used to hear from my grandpa that Burglars will smash the door of the house easily instead of attempting to break the Dindugal locks. Also, it would be very difficult to make a duplicate key for these types of locks. A gardeners dIary

A gardener's diary. In my ancestral house, we had a small but beautiful garden in the backyard. It had coconut trees, plantain trees, vegetable plants like brinjal, tomato, and ladies' fingers and flower plants also. We,siblings, owned each one of them for its care. My grandpa told the importance of this backyard garden and how humans should conceive, imbibe their attributes, and grow like them. Coconut trees. Are always treated as the eldest son of the family. In Tamil, we call Thennam Pillai. Coconut trees have a long life, although takes time to grow but once grown the yield can easily cater generations to come. Banana tree.
