Dindugal Locks

Tamilnadu -Dindugal Poottu (Locks )

Used to hear from my grandpa that Burglars will smash the door of the house easily instead of attempting to break the Dindugal locks. Also, it would be very difficult to make a duplicate key for these types of locks.

Whenever we used to go to a hardware shop for buying a lock, shop keeper always asks, you need Dindugal strong locks or ordinary safety locks.
That much importance was given to it.

We have a rhyme in Tamilnadu linking the name of the town it belongs to.
